To be sure, facility image requirements can be burdensome, especially when the franchise is a luxury brand. But completing a new facility can have its rewards.
In this week’s issue, I talk with various executives of the Rusnak Group, who were at a press event at their new Mercedes-Benz of Arcadia dealership last week.
It’s a lovely building, more like a museum than a dealership. It even has a gift shop. Well, a boutique. Getting permission to build it took more than a decade, and it cost a pretty penny. But the Rusnak Group brought in two new business lines with the additional space, among other benefits. Read more about it here.
Ever bought something that you figure you would sell if you could earn a 50 percent premium, only to see that its value has increased 200 percent? Your line of thinking then becomes, “I won’t sell unless I can earn a 100 percent premium!”
