Publicly-listed Group 1 Automotive Inc. and Lithia Motors Inc. are both back in acquisition mode, with Group 1 looking for dealerships in the U.K. and Brazil, and outside the oil-dependent states in the U.S. such as Texas and Oklahoma, while Lithia says its recently-acquired Carbone Auto Group will likely make more acquisitions, reports Automotive News here:
