Volkswagen admits to fudging emissions standards, halts sales of many models

Volkswagen AG has admitted it purposefully mis-represented emissions for its diesel models the the EPA, using software that reported different values during testing and operation, forcing the automaker to halt U.S. sales of a number of its models, reports BloombergBusiness here:
