Oregon-based Lithia Motors will purchase New Jersey-based DCH Auto Group for a reported $340 million in cash and $22.5 million in stock. Lithia will keep DCH management and name. DCH operates 27 dealerships in California, New Jersey, and New York. This is Lithia’s first purchase east of Mississippi and will give it a larger footprint in major metropolitan areas.
