July new light vehicle sales will drop 5.7 percent compared to the same month in 2016 to 1.43 million units for a SAAR of 16.7 million units, with compact the SUV/Crossover segment accounting for 18 percent of the market, up from 17.7 percent in July of 2016, forecasts Kelley Blue Book.
