The Coyle family of dealerships of Clarksville, IN has signed an agreement to acquire a Buick GMC dealership in Clarksville from Sam Swope Auto Group of Louisville, KY. The agreement will be finalized on Wednesday, July 23. Louisville is across the Ohio River from Clarksville, IN, where Coyle is headquartered. Clarksville is considered part of the Louisville metro area. The Buick GMC dealership will be moved from it current location to the location of Coyle’s Nissan and Chevrolet dealerships in Clarksville, IN.
The Sam Swope Group will also close its Buick GMC dealership along Dixie Highway in Louisville. A Sam Swope press release said the purpose is “to realign the market for Buick and GMC.”
