Autobarn of Evanston is in negotiations to acquire Oak Park Volvo, a Chicago-area dealership. The deal is for both the franchise and the real estate, the Pioneer Press, part of the Chicago Tribune Media Group, reported here:
The seller, Antonio Scalzo, obtained a $550,00 lone from Oak Park Village to finance his inventory, and members of the Oak Park Village board have expressed concern over who is responsible for repayment when the dealership changes hand, the Pioneer Press reported.
