Pratt Motors of Calais, Maine took over the GMC franchise from Cranberry Motors at the behest of General Motors. Calais already operates the Buick and Chevrolet franchises in Washington County, where Calais is located. Cranberry was operating a Ford dealership in the same location as the GMC dealership.
