Group 1 Automotive Inc. has acquired Munday Mazda and Munday Chevrolet of Houston, TX. The two dealerships are expected to generate $225 million in annual revenues. Both will continue to operate under the Munday name. Munday Chevrolet is the second-largest Chevy dealership in Texas and sixth largest in the country, according to Earl Hesterberg, President and CEO of Group 1.
