Volkswagen to pay $14.7 billion to VW owners to settle diesel scandal

In a $14.7 billion settlement in the U.S., Volkswagen will pay up to $10,000 per vehicle to owners of diesel engine VW vehicles that had software installed which hid the extent of emissions, reports The Detroit News here:
