September new light vehicles sales including fleet sales are expected to rise 0.7 percent compared to the same month in 2016 to 1.44 million units for a Seasonal Adjusted Annual Rate of 17.5 million units, forecasts Kelley Blue Book. It will be the first on-year monthly sales increase of the year, helped by replacement demand in Texas and Florida, which were both hit by major hurricanes in August.
