Charlotte, N.C.-based Hendrick Automotive Group has asked the city of Charleston, S.C. if it can demolish its Volvo facility on Savannah Highway and build a parking lot as will open a new Volvo store at the site of a former Honda store in Charleston. The Group has also asked permission to renovate a BMW dealership in the same area, reports The Post and Courier.
