Group 1 is looking to add stores in North and South Carolina and in Virginia, Pete DeLongchamps, the group’s vice president of manufacturer relations, told Automotive News. The Group is also interested in adding Land Rover and Audi stores he said, though he did not specify a location for those stores.
Group 1 recently sold several dealerships on Long Island. The publicly-listed company is the third largest dealership group in the U.S. based on new unit sales according to Automotive News. It has some 150 stores in 14 states, Brazil, and the United Kingdom.
