Houston-based Group 1 Automotive Inc. has acquired a Mercedes-Benz dealership in the fast-growing Texas Hill Country town of Boerne. It is expected to generate an additional $135 million annually in revenue. The acquisition also includes a Mercedes Sprinter commercial vehicle business.
Boerne’s population grew by more than 70 percent from 2000 until 2014 to its current 10,471 people.
