Google to form self-driving car company; first market most likely taxi-like ride sharing

Google will form a separate company for its autonomous vehicle business under its newly-formed Alphabet Inc. holding company, and taxi-like ride sharing applications are the likely first market for the autonomous vehicles, reports Bloomberg in Automotive News here:
