A Florida federal court has ruled that a GMC dealership has standing under the state’s franchise law to bring suit against General Motors for forcing the dealership’s sale by denying it capital. The judge “concluded that automotive manufacturers cannot constructively, or indirectly, terminate dealership franchises under Florida law,” the website Law360 reported here:
