Auto sales in February rose 5.3 percent compared to the same month in 2014 to 1.26 million units, equating to a SAAR of 16.24 million, reported various media outlets. Sales were dominated by the light truck segment, which accounted for 54 percent of all sales. The average selling price rose 2.8 percent compared to the same month in 2014 to $32,245, according to TrueCar.
