Sales of new cars and trucks in April should rise 4.3 percent compared to the same month in 2015 to 1,514,855 units, for an estimated Seasonally Adjusted Annual Rate of 17.5 million units, says Edmunds.com. If that number is reached, sales will surpass a record set in April. 2005 of 1,500,648 units.
