April new car sales, including SUVs and pickup trucks, rose 3.5 percent compared to the same month in 2015 to 1.506 million units, equating to a seasonally adjusted annual sales rate of 17.42 million units, and the SUV and pickup segments led the way, reports Automotive News here:
