James (Jimmy) Lapointe has sold five of his six dealerships in Pembroke, Petawawa and Renfrew, Ontario, Canada. He has been in the car business for 30 years and is a true entrepreneur. Jimmy has interests in various businesses from construction to making cement.
The purchaser, Alpha Auto Group, is a newly formed company that also has a Subaru as well as two Hyundai stores in their portfolio of dealerships. This acquisition brings the total group to eight rooftops.
The five dealerships that were sold are:
- La Pointe Chrysler Dodge Jeep
- Pembroke Honda
- Pembroke Nissan
- Petawawa Kia
- Renfrew Chrysler

The Alpha group destroyed Honda’s reputation in Pembroke, from 2016 to 2020. I have my doubts that the good Honda reputation will every recover even after changing back to original ownership. I have left Honda vehicles because of them and complete lack of service,,,Robert
