Some 1.6 million new vehicles will be sold in December, down two percent compared to the same month in 2015 but a record for 2016, which equates to a SAAR of 17.4 million units, says Kelley Blue Book. In 2017, sales are expected to drop by one to three percent to a SAAR of 16.8 to 17.3 million units, says KBB.
