Edmunds.com forecasts new car and truck sales in the U.S. in October will fall 6.8 percent compared to the same month in 2015 to 1,356,250 units for a SAAR of 16.9 million units, still a tie for the highest monthly sales rate in 2016, says Edmunds analyst Jessica Caldwell.
