Beset by additional U.S. lawsuits, Volkswagen sets aside another $2.4 billion

Volkswagen AG has set aside an additional $2.4 billion to deal with additional lawsuits and other problems in the U.S. associated with the automaker’s use of software that under-reported the emissions from some of its diesel models, reports Automotive News here:
