Tesla has begun offering autopilot software which can be downloaded and used for $2,500 in its electric vehicles. The cars using the autopilot are loaded with sensors that collect data and Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk said he is “open” to selling that data to other automakers, reports the Financial Times here:
